eGUTS final conference

ELECTRIC, ELECTRONIC AND GREEN URBAN TRANSPORT SYSTEMS

eGUTS workshopIn September 2019, the 30-month project Electric and Green Transport Systems - eGUTS ("Electric, Electronic and Green Urban Transport Systems"), led by the NGO NoGravity from Slovakia, the final conference marked end of eGUTS implementation. The project was focusing on environmentally friendly and safe transport systems as well as on balanced accessibility of urban and rural areas.

The final conference of eGUTS project took place in Zadar (Croatia) with active participation of representatives of the University of Maribor and keynote adress by Mr. Franc Žepič from Slovenian Ministry of Infrastructure and Priority 1B coordinator of the Danube Strategy. Main project results and experiences from pilot actions were presented, followed by current status of e-mobility in Danube Region together with dilemmas arising from new micro mobility services (e-scooters). The conference concluded with a transnational workshop where the pilot cities have presented and discussed their experience in development of local e-mobility action plans. The workshop was moderated by assoc. prof. dr. Stane Božičnik.
