Transnational Open Trainings/Webinars

The two webinars will be conducted by specialists from the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing in Poznan (PL), as a result of two researches conducted in the framework of SULPITER project (desk research and Delphi analysis). The presentations will be enriched with the experience of SULPITER project partners. By taking a part in these webinars, you will get complex information about state of the art in the topic of trends influencing logistics and inspiration for the future. You can expect more than one hour of condensed knowledge useful for developing your FUA.The trainings are organized by the project SULPiTER (Sustainable Urban Logistics PlannIng To Enhance Regional freight transport) with the aim to improve the Sustainable Urban Logistics Plans (SULPs) in Functional Urban Areas.

Webinar 15. May, 14:00 CET – Consumption, production and spatial organisation
Megatrends on changing consumption and production (e.g. 3D printing, growth of e-commerce, sharing
economy and globalization trends) and spatial organization (e.g. logistic sprawl, pick-up network points
and Urban distribution centres) are the contents of the first webinar.
Webinar 22. May, 14.00 CET – Supply chain management and technologies
Supply chain management and distribution (e.g. Omni-channel logistics or green supply chain principles) and
technologies and equipment (e.g. internet of things or clean vehicles) are the topics of the second webinar.
