On Monday, 30 6. 2008, within the framework of EU project TraLoTra workshop "Innovative Methods for Education in the Field of Transportation and Logistics" was successfully conducted. The workshop was focused on the promotion of intermodal transport as well as on the presentation of training needs and existing multimodal transport best practices.

 

In the first part of the workshop project TraLoTra was briefly presented, followed by overview of training needs in the field of transport and logistics with special emphasis on Slovenian intermodal transport gap assessment.  Examples of good practice in the field of intermodal transportation were presented and a demonstration on innovative learning environment with content for education together with short lecture from the course of Supply Chain Management was given.  The workshop conducted with informal gathering for its lecturers and participants.
