Namen in cilji naloge
Projekt ALP-NET je povezal skupine prometnih, okoljskih in prostorskih strokovnjakov, izdelovalcev prometne politike in predstavnikov civilnih pobud s področja Alp, z namenom, da se vzpostavi integrirane podatkovne baze (o prometu, okolju, poselitvi, dejavnostih itd.) in pripravi strokovna in znanstvena podlaga za učinkovitejše prometno-politično odločanje na posebej občutljivih območjih EU, npr. v Alpah.
Projekt se je uspešno končal leta 2003.
