The project team worked on a database of Slovenian freight transport flows prepared by the Slovenian Statistics Bureau. After obtaining a clear picture of freight flows, especially on the roads, a detailed analysis of optimization possibilities was made. Several policy recommendations were made. Special attention was dedicated to potential innovative co-modal solutions.
