The aim of the project was to identify and evaluate the potential financing sources for the Slovenian railroad system as a whole, with a special focus on railroad infrastructure.
The project examined the EU directives on cross-financing, the theoretical aspects of subsidies in transport, identified the possible policy tools for cross-financing and several best practices of cross-financing from Europe and other countries.
